On September 15th and 16th our members supplied wooden boats for display at the Cobble Beach Concours d' Elegance.

This being our fourth year doing so.

We were delighted with the interest in our display which consisted of the 1959 unlimited Class Hydroplane "Miss Supertest III" graciously entered by Murray Walker of Bracebridge.

"Rambler" a 26' 1918 Triple-Cockpit Pyke made in Montreal by the Pyke Motor and Yacht Company supplied by Peter Moore of Barrie.

And last but not least "Just Peachy" a 1936 23' Port Carling one of two built with the most extreme Tumblehome ever entered by Mike Honsberger of Jordan station.

Certainly one of our best and most interesting displays of wooden boats.

I would like to thank Murray, Peter and Mike, for making the weekend such a great success and helping us increase the awareness of our wooden boat world.
