This is an Invitation For our friends of the ACBS Every year the Toronto Chapter of The Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) arranges a spring workshop tour in Muskoka. This is where on average 10 of the finest boat building and restoration workshops open their doors for wooden boat enthusiasts to admire the projects they have been working on over the winter. This tour will regularly have 300 guests travelling from shop to shop, throughout the day the energy will be high in each shop. The tour this year is on April 24th right about the same time we expect the ice to go out. This winter we had a record breaking dump of snow and Muskoka hasn't looked prettier from the shop window. Inside was pretty also as we were graced with the beauty of Lady Elgin, Llanllady, Naniwa II, Faye, Norwood II and other Muskoka beauties. Some of these classics will still be in the shop beside our own new Butson custom designs and one surprise boat Tim has been dreaming about for a long while.
