Searching for boats of the Royal Canadian Engineers.

I'm searching for information on boats built during the war for the Royal Canadian Engineers. These would be the 20' Storm Boat Mark I and the Assault Boat Mark III, not to mention pontoons, barges and floating bridge equipment. I've been trying to trace where in Canada they were made and I strongly suspect a number of companies in the southern Ontario area. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged in my forthcoming book on the subject. FYI: I've been searching the National Archives and Library. Regards, slizenator@gmail.com
